Zürich Schipfe

No apologies for repeating a view - after 10 years I still haven't tired of the haphazard but somehow harmonious facades of Schipfe, a few hundred meters of pedestrian serenity along the west bank of the Limmat in the centre of town. Don't get me wrong though, pedestrian serenity is never far away in Zürich, even though we are only a gold bar's throw away from the financial strongrooms of Paradeplatz.
A stroll along here though has qualities very much of its own.
Les volumes, simples et variés cependant, semblent avoir été taillés et assemblés par un géant.
