How did you do this? I love the in focus foreground but how did you get the background in focus yet paler than the foreground. This is so impressive!

Hi Jilly - Happy New Year!

It was a misty day, so the effect is just natural, with the forground being close, the background relatively distant, and a medium telephoto lens

I did wonder if it was simply the light. But also a photographer with a great eye!

Photographer or mist... probably both! The result really makes you wish to be back there, maybe especially in this winter atmosphere!
