Bohemia, Zurich

cafe bohemia, zurich, switzerland

Cafe Bohemia in Zurich is another of my morning haunts, but unlike Tibits and Globus I don't think I've posted a photo. It's much more of a brasserie than the other two although I like all three for different reasons. For that reason I gave the photo the "vintage" treatment like yesterdays Paris shot. It also has a free wi-fi connection so you can indulge your blogging activities till your heart's content. That said, I have to apologise for my lack of visibility in recent weeks on my favourite blogs.

This photo makes me smile.

My sister-in-law arrived back in Australia from Macedonia this week (30hours traveling!!).
She was on a flight from Zurich with her toddler who is kinda like a manic wind up toy.
He was besotted with a bloke tapping on his laptop - it wasn't you, was it??!!
I like to imagine it was.

I really like the vintage treatment you chose. It suits the location perfectly, as it does the Seine barges yesterday.

I don't mind seeing you remaining outside the Euro 08 turmoil. Stay who you are.

Cergie - I definitely operate the same way as your son. I think it has something to do with "going to work". It's very nice to be able to work from home, but it doesn't "work" for me. I particularly like cafes, if they have the right ambience, but also libraries. Cafes in art galleries are also very good. (I found the cafe in the Petit Palais rather good, thanks to Peter - and it also has a free wi-fi conection)

Nathalie - it works quite well, but I'm a bit ashamed - it's just a standard push-button preset that comes with Adobe Lightroom
