ah! Why does this "crop"/composition appeal to me? The vaste white. The bridge, the tower, the special shape of those trees. All of these nothing without the "big white", and then the water "whitening" away below...just a bit of water.

I love the space in this. The sense of distance. The isolation of the causeway or so it seems. That white sky, goodness. How good in B and W.

suzanne - it's the walkway (St Jakob's Weg) from Rapperswil across the lake - I think you know it probably - you're a Zürcherin, yes?
