Père Lachaise

pere lachaise cemetery, paris

I never knew that there were so many "other" famous people buried in this cemetery. Must be pretty dangerous living around this area if you are an artist....

Golly.....couldn't agree more about the cote inquietant: my instant reaction before readign Cergie. Very perceptive, Richard. You seem to have felt this.

Ohh - I thought they were little houses!
(I guess they are, in a way).
They are not nearly as enchanting when you know they are in the cemetery.
I think I'll stick with my interpretation.

My parents' parents are buried there, on both sides of the family. My father's ashes are there too, in the family concession, one of those little houses. Yet I never go. I'm not into cemeteries. My father lives within me every day of my life.
