Loved that stretch and nice b/w composition.

Thanks Pria. I guess by stretch you mean the perspective "correction" - lift and tilt movements or good old baseboard tilting as we used to call it. Digital manipulation certainly makes it easier to get things organised the way the brain thinks it sees it

....you are a cunning magician. Great sense of the "mighty Rhine".

I like the lines of this composition -- it reminds me of Caillebotte's paintings with the strong diagonal.

Nice photograph. I like it and wonder how you ever got down there to take the picture.

Hi Richard !

Cergie - I like your photo. I'm surprised that the Gehry buildings can be seen! You must have taken this from the far bank, to the right, in my photo. Having the structures form a silhouette on the horizon makes a good composition, and the Rhine is nowhere to be seen! The Stadtor is very impressive with that "see-through" atrium. It was my favourite architectural sight in Düsseldorf

I will try to make some use of my Düsseldorf ecperience: I believe your nice photo must be of the Rheinkniebrücke and the one by Cergie is probably taken (as you say) from the opposite side (to the right - Oberkassel). Or...?

... and yes, it'ss surprising and nice to find sheep, shephards and sheep dogs on the banks, more or less in the middle of the city!
