D.S Stadt Zürich
Well, a bit lazy, but another picture of the Zürichsee steamer Stadt Zürich. This is for a friend who has just been experiencing her sister of the seas, the SS Waverley. It doesn't seem so long ago that I was posting about the first cruise of the season, and we are now approaching the last (well, sometime in September)
Apparently it's been a bumper year for the cruises, as was last year. This reflects a general boom in Swiss tourism, driven I guess by the favourable exchange rates amongst other things

Loverly little ship! Steam engined? I had a small cruise on a steam engined one last year on Lago di Como. Very nice!!

This would be the ideal way to end the summer, cruising on the lake and sipping a few beers.
