Paris - Petit Palais

Back in Paris for a day - this is the Petit Palais. So called I suppose in comparison to the Humungous Palais across the road, but it's pretty large in it's own right

Somehow, the feed I used in my news reader does not work anymore with this blog. Are any of the readers using Vienna? What is in any case the RSS address you use for this blog? Thanks.

Feeds....Bloglines (I think I'm using the RSS option, but it offers a selection to choose from) is getting the alert OK. Google Mail is getting it OK, BT Yahoo Mail has gone temeramental, sometimes getting and sometimes rejecting/not recording.

Back to the stunning picture......a real eye-opener. Congrats, Richard on capturing the "signature tiny figures"......not perfect, but that is not under your control

The top of the dome cut off to concentrate on the arch and facade, that works well. And the two little people, perfectly placed, add life to this magnificent architecture shot. Very good.

You really understand how big "petit palais", is when you see that itty bitty dog, standing in front of it.
I love the big gatey thing (I'm sure it has a proper name) - I like its swirls.

212 - I don't know is this is helpful, but this is the feed I use on bloglines

Hi everyone - sorry if you are having feed/RSS problems. Nothing has changed about the blog so I can't offer an explanation - however I'm going to subscribe to the blog myself through different userids and see if I can replicate the problems. I'm still travelling (in Edinburgh now for a couple of days) so my comments/visits are a bit sporadic

I agree - the small persons and the dog in front of the "petit" building makes the picture! Did you have a look inside the "grand" palace? It has also just been refurbished and the roof, seen from inside, is marvellous - after a few years of work!

I see you are in Edinburgh . . can´t wait to see some great photos of the capital . . . if you can make it over to Arran on the west coast or up to Glencoe we are sure to see some great landscapes!

Thank you, Chuckeroon!
I thought I had tried this address among others but this morning, I deleted and recreated the subscription with your link and Vienna showed all recent messages... Let's hope it continues!

AHAHAH !
